It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Andrew Heid, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Lackawanna County, near Route 107 and Heart Lake Road in Mayfield.
Andrew was a proud graduate of Valley View High School, Class of 2022, and a beloved member of the Valley View community. He was a dedicated athlete and a key contributor to the 2021 District Championship football team, remembered by teammates and coaches for his passion, perseverance, and leadership on and off the field.
Wearing jersey #32, Andrew brought heart and determination to every game, and his impact on the program and his peers will never be forgotten. His memory lives on not only through his accomplishments, but through the friendships, laughter, and strength he shared with those around him.
Our hearts are with Andrew’s family, friends, and former teammates as they grieve this unimaginable loss. The entire Valley View community mourns alongside them and lifts them in prayer during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest in peace, Andrew. Your legacy will forever live on.
