The Champaign County Coroner, Laurie Brauer, has identified Andrew L. Ward as the victim of a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on the evening of August 5, 2025.
Andrew, 35, of Allerton, Illinois, tragically lost his life at the scene of the accident, which took place near the intersection of 1600 E and Old Church Road, just outside Urbana. He was pronounced deceased at 5:59 p.m.
Andrew will be remembered as a beloved member of the Allerton community. His sudden passing has left his family, friends, and loved ones in deep mourning.
