Anita Lam Wright Nyack Murder–suicide – Tragic news has shaken the Nyack community after authorities discovered two people fatally shot inside a home on North Midland Avenue on Saturday, following what police describe as a domestic incident.
Officers responded to 290 North Midland Ave. after concerns were raised about the occupants. When repeated attempts to contact the residents were unsuccessful, a SWAT team was deployed. Upon entering the home, officers found the bodies of a 55-year-old woman, identified as Anita Lam Wright, and a 52-year-old man. A shotgun believed to have been used in the incident was recovered at the scene.
The Orangetown Police Department stated that they had not received any prior reports of domestic disturbances at the residence.
