Beverly murder-suicide – Authorities have identified the two individuals found deceased in an apparent murder-suicide at a home on Colonial Drive in Beverly, Massachusetts, on Monday night as Becky Lynn Center, 58, and John Patrick Nesbitt, 56.
Police responded to the residence around 9:40 p.m. after receiving reports of a possible disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered both individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Sadly, Becky and John were pronounced dead at the scene.
Video from the scene showed the home surrounded by yellow police tape and multiple patrol vehicles parked outside, as investigators worked late into the night to piece together the events leading up to the tragedy.
Both Becky and John are being remembered by friends and loved ones as kindhearted individuals who touched the lives of many. Their passing has left the Beverly community in deep shock and sorrow.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, but officials have stated there is no threat to the public.
