It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Brett Bacon, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident near Sturgis in August 2025. Brett’s sudden departure has left his family, friends, and community stunned and heartbroken. He was a vibrant soul, known for his loyalty, passion, and love of life.
Brett, 38, lived life on his own terms. A lover of open roads and the thrill of riding, he found peace and joy in the freedom of his motorcycle ,a symbol of the fearless spirit that defined him. Those who knew Brett best will remember him for his adventurous nature, his unwavering loyalty to those he loved, and the sincerity that made him both a friend and a brother to many.
He had an infectious laugh, a big heart, and a way of showing up when it mattered most. Whether in moments of celebration or difficulty, Brett was dependable, the kind of person who could be counted on without question.
Outside of his love for riding, Brett enjoyed spending time outdoors, working with his hands, and making genuine connections with people. He carried a quiet strength and humility that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Brett is survived by his loving wife, Brittany, and their five children, who will forever cherish the memories of his love, laughter, and presence. Though his life was cut short, the impact he made in the lives around him will endure for generations.
Brett Bacon lived boldly, loved deeply, and left this world doing what he loved. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of authenticity, courage, and connection will never fade.
