It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Peter Luea, a beloved physician, devoted husband, cherished father, and respected community member. Dr. Luea tragically lost his life on August 4, 2025, at the age of 53, in a heartbreaking car accident while out for a jog near his home. He was a resident of Dimondale, Michigan, and a committed family physician at McLaren Greater Lansing Family Medicine North.
Peter was more than a doctor, he was a healer in the truest sense. His compassion, integrity, and deep care for his patients set him apart in the medical community. Colleagues recall his steady presence, patients remember his listening ear and calming words, and friends admired his strength of character and humility.
As a physician, Dr. Luea brought light into the lives of countless families.
