Emergency responders were called to the scene after reports of a medical emergency. Despite efforts to render aid, the student was pronounced deceased.
University officials have not released the student’s name at this time, pending family notification. Counselors and campus mental health services are being made available to students and staff affected by the loss.
In a statement, FSU expressed condolences to the student’s family, friends, and the entire campus community, urging anyone struggling to reach out for support.
