GREENCASTLE, Pa.** – Authorities are responding to a reported shooting near the **Sheetz location at the intersection of Antrim Commons Drive and US-11 (Molly Pitcher Highway)** in Greencastle.
Calls came in to first responders just before **6:30 p.m.** for an injured person, followed by reports of a shooting in the same area. Emergency crews quickly arrived on scene, and multiple **medical helicopters** were dispatched to transport patients from the area.
As a result, **US-11 has been shut down at South Washington Street near Rescue Hose Company No. 1 of Greencastle**, and **I-81 southbound** is **closed to all traffic between Exit 5 (PA-16, Greencastle)** and **Exit 3 (Molly Pitcher Highway)** to accommodate the emergency response and helicopter landings.
Drivers are urged to **avoid the area** and seek alternate routes as authorities continue their investigation and emergency crews work on scene.
