She radiated kindness in every role she embraced daughter, sister, friend and carried a gentle strength that touched all around her. Known for her bright smile and generous heart, she was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen and valued.
Roots, Education & Community
A native of Lewisburg, Tennessee, Kayla graduated from Marshall County High School in 2005 and continued her education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As a member of Alpha Delta Pi, she forged enduring friendships and eventually met Cody, her husband and lifelong partner. She rooted her life in Tennessee, contributing to her community with sincere engagement and spirit .
Career & Personal Passion
After college, Kayla lived in Brentwood, Tennessee, where she pursued a successful career in sales and entrepreneurship. Her creative talents and compassionate leadership were evident in every endeavor from building personal connections with clients to supporting local initiatives. Family and friends remember her as generous, thoughtful, and unwaveringly present.

Kayla’s passing has deeply affected her family, including Cody, and the broader community that adored her. Though her life was brief, her influence was immense rooted in love, kindness, and heartfelt dedication.
