It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of Mark Henshaw, 35, and Marie Hunt, 37, both of Raynham, Massachusetts, who were fatally shot on Friday in a suspected murder-suicide.
According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III, police responded to a home on Elm West Street shortly after noon following a 911 call. Upon arrival, officers entered a locked second-floor bedroom where they found Mark and Marie. Mark had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head, and Marie had a wound to her abdomen.
Police said both adults lived inside the home. Police said there were two children inside the home that were unharmed.
Both Mark and Marie lived in the home where this heartbreaking incident occurred. Their sudden loss has left family, friends, and the Raynham community in deep mourning. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
