Michael Aguilar, a 21-year-old resident of Queens, tragically passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, following a motorcycle accident on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.
According to authorities, Michael was riding his Kawasaki Ninja 400 on the upper level of the Brooklyn-bound span around 10:55 p.m. when he lost control and struck a barrier on the right side of the roadway. Despite wearing a helmet, he was ejected from the motorcycle. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Michael could not be saved.
Michael was known for his adventurous spirit, love for motorcycles, and deep loyalty to his family and friends. He brought energy and laughter wherever he went, and his presence was a bright light to all who knew him. At just 21, his life was full of potential and dreams that touched those around him.
He is survived by his family, who are devastated by this sudden loss, along with many friends who will remember him for his warmth, passion, and fearless nature.
