It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Noah Haiduc-Dale, who died at the age of 48 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
A valued member of Centenary University’s History Department since 2013, Dr. Haiduc-Dale was a respected scholar of the contemporary Middle East and a dedicated mentor to countless students. His contributions to the University extended far beyond the classroom. As University Archivist, Chair of the Speakers Committee, and Advisor to the History Club, he enriched the Centenary community with his wisdom, kindness, passion for teaching, and love of music.
Dr. Haiduc-Dale’s warmth, generosity, and intellectual curiosity touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy that will endure through the students he inspired and the colleagues who cherished him.
To honor his memory and celebrate his life, the Centenary community is invited to gather for two opportunities of remembrance:
* **Vigil**: Monday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m. in front of the Seay Administration Building
* **Memorial Service**: Friday, September 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Church
Together, we will reflect on Noah’s life, celebrate his impact, and support one another during this time of loss. He will be deeply missed.
