SUNY Poly Student Dies – The SUNY Polytechnic Institute community is mourning the loss of one of its students who has sadly passed away after reportedly taking their own life inside a campus dormitory.
Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of an unresponsive individual. Despite efforts to provide aid, the student was pronounced deceased. The university has not released the student’s name out of respect for the family’s privacy.
In a statement, SUNY Poly officials expressed their condolences, saying counseling and mental health support are being made available to students and staff affected by the tragedy.
This heartbreaking loss has deeply impacted the campus community. Students and faculty are urged to support one another and to seek help if they are struggling.
