Franklin Regional Suicide – Tayson Foltz, a beloved student at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, has sadly passed away after taking his own life. He was found on Sunday morning, September 14, 2025, near the school grounds, leaving family, friends, and the community heartbroken by his sudden loss.

According to Murrysville police, Tayson was discovered around 6 a.m. near the high school gym entrance. He was found outside his car, which had been set on fire. Authorities confirmed that his death was not caused by the vehicle fire but was the result of suicide. Out of respect for the family, no additional details have been released.

Tayson was known among his peers and teachers as a bright young man with a kind heart. He brought warmth and humor into the lives of those who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed both inside and outside the classroom.

Franklin Regional School District Superintendent Gennaro R. Piraino Jr. expressed the sorrow felt across the school community, writing, *“This is an unimaginable loss for our school community, and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the student’s family and friends.”*
