With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the tragic passing of Tyquan Jones-Alexander, age 14, who lost his life far too soon in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Tyquan was a bright, energetic young soul with a kind heart and a contagious smile that could light up a room. Born in 2011, he was a son, a brother, a friend, and a beloved member of his community. Tyquan was known for his love of music, video games, and his deep loyalty to those he cared about. He had dreams, hopes, and a future waiting to unfold—one filled with promise and potential.
His passing, the result of senseless violence, has left his family, friends, and neighbors devastated. He is mourned by all who knew him and remembered for the joy and laughter he brought into their lives. No child should ever be taken this way.
Tyquan is survived by his loving family and many friends who will cherish his memory forever. As the community grieves, may we honor Tyquan by seeking peace, justice, and a safer future for all our children.
