Authorities are investigating after a person was found deceased at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado.
According to initial reports, the individual reportedly took their own life on campus. Emergency responders were called to the scene, but despite efforts to provide aid, the person was pronounced dead.
Officials have not yet released the individual’s identity, pending notification of family members. The Academy has stated that there is no ongoing threat to the community and that counseling and support services are being made available to cadets, staff, and faculty affected by the tragedy.
The incident remains under investigation by Air Force officials and local authorities.
