Around 11:30 a.m. Monday morning, emergency crews rushed to the Worcester County Court after several 911 calls reported a distressing situation inside the courthouse. Worcester Police, Fire Department personnel, and UMass Worcester EMS all responded to the scene within minutes.
According to initial reports, the person jumped from the third floor of the courthouse . Despite swift efforts by first responders to render aid, the individual was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.
